The Dulcet One VO guarantees that all work is authentic and will never be created by a voice clone or AI model.

SO. MUCH. INFORMATION.

Welcome back to my blog, where I’m documenting my journey to becoming a successful voice actor. In my last post, I shared that I was still in the research phase and learning everything I could about the industry. While I’m still in that phase, I’ve picked up some new insights that I’m excited to share with you.

One thing I’ve learned is that there’s a vibrant voice-over community out there, with big names and lesser-known artists. While I’m not sure where I fit in yet, I’m fascinated by the stories of how people got into this line of work, their struggles, and triumphs. Learning from others’ experiences can help me avoid pitfalls and minimize my mistakes.

After months of research, I’m eager to get my hands on some gear and start tinkering around. While I won’t be investing in top-of-the-line equipment just yet, I’m excited to familiarize myself with my setup, the software (DAW), and mic technique. Hearing my voice recorded still sounds alien to me, and I’m eager to work on finding my own unique sound.

I’m taking things slow and methodical to ensure I don’t rush into things that might ruin my name before I even have a chance to establish myself. But I’m eager to start experimenting and finding my own path in this exciting industry.

Thanks for tuning in, and I’ll share more updates soon!
